What is jealousy? I have negative emotions towards the word, except when associated with God. I can tell when I am jealous; however, as I tried to put it in words last night, I struggled.
I decided to do a little dictionary research online.
* Jealousy typically refers to the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that occur when a person believes a valued relationship is being threatened by a rival. This rival may or may not know that he or she is perceived as a threat.

I posted a picture on my Facebook of myself sitting in contemplation before a fountain in Connors Park (871 N Wabash). I've been going through this phase where I want pictures of significant spots in Chicago. Not significant tourist spots, but places where I have gone by myself to think and pray, or where I have had a deep conversation with a friend that taught me about God etc.
This particular place is where I went one cold fall evening with my R.A. We stopped by Argo Tea and grabbed warm drinks to sip. Then we sat on a bench where she listened to me pour out my heart about some rough emotions going through my heart. She offered her ears, an outstretched heart, and some of the best counsel I've ever had.

Prayer is the Voice of Faith
I was just reading through some quotes on prayer, and good quotes have a way of making you think.
'Prayer that affects our ministry must first give depth to our private lives. True prayer works mighty spiritual changes. The character of our praying will determine the character of our ministries. Prayer makes our words strong, gives them power, makes them stick. No learning can make up for the failure to pray. No earnestness, no diligence, no study will supply its lack.' E. M. Bounds
'God does nothing but by prayer and everything with it.' John Wesley
'Prayer is not so much an act as it is an attitude - an attitude of dependency, dependency upon God.' Arthur W. Pink
'Prayer does not fit us for the greater work, prayer is the greater work.' Oswald Chambers
'Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?' Corrie Ten Boom
